Did you think of the word “Vendetta” straight after reading the title? I keep thinking that, too! But nope, I don’t own any polish called Vendetta, sorry to be disappointing!

My V is for… Zoya Verushka!

Zoya Veruschka is part of the old Matte Velvet collection which was released in Winter 2009. I think it’s still quite easy to find though. The one polish back from that collection which is really HTF is actually Posh, the red one.

Veruschka is a matte shimmery green and it’s simply amazing, there’s not really much to say about it. It’s very sparkly even though it’s matte which is something quite unusual to me, and I really appreciated it!

Because mattes tend to show every single nail imperfection I used a ridge filler base underneath. No top coat obviously. These are two coats, but Veruschka is actually a one coater.

Anche voi avete pensato alla parola Vendetta solo a leggere il titolo, ammettetelo! Io lo penso tutte le volte! Però no, non ho nessuno smalto chiamato Vendetta, mi spiace!

La mia V sta per… Zoya Veruschka!

Zoya Veruschka fa parte della collezione Matte Velvet risalente all’inverno 2009. In ogni caso è ancora abbastanza facile da trovare. Lo smalto “raro” di quella collezione è il Posh, quello rosso.

Veruschka è un verde shimmer matte ed è stupendo. Non c’è molto altro da dire. E’ molto sbrilluccicoso nonostante sia matte che è una cosa che mi ha colpito in positivo.

Siccome gli smalti matte tendono a far vedere tutti i difettucci delle unghie questa volta ho usato una base ridge filler. Niente top coat ovviamente. Due passate di Veruschka, anche se in realtà ne basta una per essere completamente coprente.

Just to show you how gorgeous this polish is even when you use a top coat over it I decided to alternate nails. I guess you can tell which ones I top-coated by yourself, can’t you?

Giusto per farvi vedere quanto questo smalto sia bello sia matte che lucido ho deciso di alternare un top coat. Immagino che capirete da sole quali unghie abbiano il tc e quali no. Giusto?

Last week I received the DRK plates and an XL stamper in a swap and I thought Veruschka could be a great base to attempt stamping. And boy it was! I used DRK-B plate and Essie Good as Gold, I am sooo proud of it!

La scorsa settimana ho ricevuto le piastre (c’è una parola più bella in italiano?) da stamping DRK e uno stamper XL, e ho pensato che il Veruschka sarebbe stata un’ottima base da stamping. E lo è stata eccome! Ho usato la plate DRK-B e l’Essie Good as Gold. Sono fierissima di questa nail art *__*
