Shaka Deep Rich Red

Hi everyone!

Today I have a quick swatch of the polish I used as a base for my Santa nails that I wore on Christmas day.

This is Shaka Rich Red, from their brand new Deep collection, that dries suede. I bought it specially for doing my Santa nails, I wanted a suede or matte red. Plus I had a coupon for 30% off Shaka’s polishes so I thought it was the perfect chance to try their new collection.

Unfortunately though Shaka Rich Red is not a true red but a raspberry red. I must confess I was a bit disappointed by that. Other than that I can’t find other faults to it. It applies wonderfully, it dries fast and it’s perfectly opaque in two coats.

Oggi ho uno swatch veloce dello smalto che ho usato come base per la nail art Babbo Natale che vi ho già fatto vedere.

Vi presento Shaka Rich Red della collezione Deep, che altro non è che un’intera collezione che asciuga semi-matte. L’ho comprato proprio per la nail art di Natale, volevo uno smalto rosso opaco o satinato, e c’era la promo del 30% sugli smalti Shaka quindi perchè non fare 2+2 e approfittare anche per provare questa nuova collezione?

Purtroppo però lo Shaka Rich Red non è un vero rosso, piuttosto un color lampone. Ammetto che questa cosa mi ha delusa un po’, ma non posso trovargli altri difetti oltre a questo. Si stende una favola, è coprente in due passate e asciuga veloce.

 

If you ever travel to Italy and spot some Shaka’s be sure to grab as many as you can. They are usually great quality for a small price. Their old collections are mini sized 5ml for 1,99€, the new packaging is 8ml for 2,99€. The brush is the standard one even in the small bottles so don’t worry about it either!

Avete già trovato questa collezione e le nuove boccette Shaka? Si è passati da 5ml per 1,99€ a 8ml per 2,99€. In pratica il prezzo al ml è rimasto invariato. A me però le boccette piccole piacevano tanto >_<
