Discontinued day: Catrice The Peach Boys (Crème Fresh LE)

Hi everyone!

I was actually wondering what to post today when Barbara reminded me about Discontinued Day. Thanks goodness my friends know I’m getting older and forget everything!

This is Catrice The Peach Boys from the older Crème Fresh limited edition and I got this one from my great friend D. I must admit I would have never bought it myself but I found myself really liking the colour once I had it on. I must spend a few more words here.

First of all I have no idea why it’s named Peach because it has nothing peach in it. This is a nude with golden shimmer that turns into a real shimmery gold when you are in direct sunlight. The gold coloured swatches are what had me hesitant about it. You know I am not a gold lover. But I do love nudes! And I adore golden shimmer. This polish changes so badly from indoors to outdoors and as much as I love its indoors look I dislike the outdoors/sunlight one. It’s so odd!

Mi stavo giusto chiedendo cosa postare oggi quando Barbara ha prontamente ricordato a questa povera vecchietta che è il giorno del Discontinued Day.

Quello che vi mostro è il Catrice The Peach Boys della vecchia LE Crème Fresh. L’ho ricevuto dalla mia amica D. ed ero abbastanza scettica, ma mi sono dovuta ricredere una volta steso sulle unghie.

Non mi chiedete perchè si chiami Peach, non ha niente di pescato (si dice così?). E’ un nude con shimmer dorato, che diventa proprio oro sotto il sole. Gli swatches che lo ritraggono nella versione oro sono proprio quello che mi aveva trattenuto dall’acquistarlo, sapete che nn è un colore che amo. Però amo i nude e adoro lo shimmer dorato. Questo smalto cambia radicalmente da interno a esterno e mi piace un sacco dentro per quanto non mi piace al sole. E’ stranissimo!

Can you see the huge difference? Isn’t it super odd? I really think so. And I feel like I need something similar to this polish but not changing into gold! Any suggestions?

Visto che differenza? Cosa stranissima, eh? Almeno per me. E mi piace un sacco la prima versione come dicevo, vorrei qualcosa del genere che non mi diventi oro al sole! Se avete qualche suggerimento li accetto volentieri!
