Hi everyone!
To kick off summer 2015 I teamed up with my nail buddy Cristina at Pee Before Polish to show you what the same polish can look like on different nail lengths and different skin tones. We are obviously rocking holos to make the most out of this season!
Both of us are quite pale skinned but she has a lovely pink undertone while I am more of a neutral peachy tone. And her nails are like double long than mine!
So let’s start this off with the gorgeous Colors by Llarowe My Broken Down Crop Duster. This is another stunning shade created by Leah Ann and once again the quality it top notch. Colour wise is quite hard to describe. Under direct sunlight it’s a dark blurple while in the shade it looks like it has a touch of brown in it.
In my photos you can see two coats of CbL My Broken Down Crop Duster but it is actually a one coater. Can’t wait to attempt stamping with it, I’m quite positive it will work!

Per cominciare questa estate 2015 ho deciso di unire le forze con Cristina di Pee Before Polish per mostrarvi lo stesso smalto indossato su unghie di diversa lunghezza e un diverso tono di pelle. Ovviamente siamo in estate quindi questo esperimento lo facciamo con degli smalti olografici!
Entrambe siamo pallide di carnagione, ma mentre lei ha una bella pelle rosata io sono una specie di color pesca :D E le sue unghie sono lunghe il doppio delle mie!
Cominciamo con Colors by Llarowe My Broken Down Crop Duster, un’altra delle stupende creazioni di Leah Ann, sempre di livello altissimo. Il colore è difficile da descrivere, direttamente sotto il sole è un blu-viola, ma fuori dalla luce ha un tocco di marrone.
Nelle mie foto vedete due passate di CBL My Broken Down Crop Duster ma in realtà è coprente in una sola mano. Non vedo l’ora di provarlo per stamping, secondo me funziona!
I want to add that Cristina and I don’t own a lot of common nail polishes in our collections because we have quite a different taste. If we do, it’s probably something you all should own. Just saying.

Voglio concludere dicendovi che Cristina e io abbiamo pochissimi smalti in comune perchè abbiamo gusti molto diversi. Quando capita si tratta di smalti molto speciali, che molto probabilmente dovreste avere tutti!
E adesso andate da lei a scoprire se Colors by LLarowe My Broken Down Crop Duster le sta uguale a me!

Rappresentiamo perfettamente i due grandi schieramenti di colore di questo smalto: marrone/grigio io e blu/viola tu. Esisteranno due produzioni diverse? Reagirà con gli enzimi della pelle????

Ah la storia dei lotti diversi non l'avevo presa in considerazione, ma in effetti trattandosi di indie mescolati a mano è più che possibile!

DeleteCome ho scritto di là ...Bellissimo esperimento, anche la lunghezza delle unghie effettivamente può cambiare la resa.
ReplyDeleteQui sembra un po' più carico, come colore...Favoloso anche se manca la punta di marrone (che a me non dispiace, su un holo scuro).
Molto più carico, e con del blu che da Cristina decisamente non c'è! Da me il marrone si intravede in casa, ma non prevale.

DeleteAdoro questa iniziativa, come mi piace un sacco lo smalto in questione, solo che a me è sembrato più marrone scurissimo che altro (provato solo su swatchicle). Urge riesaminarlo al più presto :D
