[ITA & ENG]
Ciao a tutti!
Ormai li abbiamo visti in tutte le salse e marche, no? E io ci provo sempre.

Hi everyone!
Today’s post is a super quick swatch of a polish that didn’t impress me.
This summer I stumbled upon this new Wet’n’Wild nail polish line called 1 Step Wonder Gel, those nail polishes claim to work like gel polish but don’t need to be cured under a UV lamp. Nowadays every brand is basically releasing something following this concept, uh? And I am always curious about it.
I picked the shade Pretty Peas, which despite the name is nowhere near a pea green. It’s more of a mint green leaning blue. It’s quite sheer so you need three thin coats or two thick ones. Formula is quite watery thus easy to apply. However it’s hard to even the colour and you get some awful streaks or bald spots.
Two coats without top coat.

Come vi siete trovate?

Wet'n'Wild Pretty Peas lasted a couple days without chipping and using a top coat from another brand. Anyway I had to cover it with a nail art because those streaks really annoyed me.
Have you ever used any colour from Wet’n’Wild 1 Step Wonder Gel collection? And how did you like it?

Beautiful color, but it`s annoying when a polish doesn`t apply equally...
ReplyDeleteI agree Gocha!
DeleteIts really beautiful so its such a shame you found it to be streaky. I have a couple from their regular line and I really like them, do you think its just the gels?
ReplyDeleteI think so but I've only ever tried a black from their regular line so I can't really be sure of that.

ReplyDeleteThat's such a shame it didn't perform well because it's such a pretty colour. :)
DeleteThank you Sarah!
I like pastel shades and if it is green even better. Beautiful one!
ReplyDeleteThat's a beautiful shade, but it's so irritating when a polish dose not work properly.
DeleteI need to try these. Streaks or no, the color is lovely.
ReplyDeleteThanks Nichole!
DeleteToo bad the formula is lousy, because it's a pretty shade!
ReplyDeleteDitto Kerry!
DeleteNever use the wet n wild brand but I have used Sally Hansen and wasn't impressed.
ReplyDeleteI picked this one up and had issues with it too. Some of the other shades in the range are decent though
ReplyDeleteThanks for the tip!
DeleteStreaks drive me INSANE! It's such a beautiful shade otherwise
ReplyDeleteMe, too!
DeleteIt's a very lovely mint green, but that's a shame about the application :(
ReplyDeleteTrue Katherine!
DeleteThis green is such a calming shade! Sucks about the streaks. That is never fun.
ReplyDeleteAgreed!
