Hi everyone!
Today I’m showing you the nail polish that was the base for my Christmas lights mani. As I’ve already mentioned it’s Zoya Suvi, a shimmery emerald green. Despite such a dark colour Zoya Suvi is actually quite sheer. At first coat you only get a smokey hint of colour, not even green. Only at second coat you see the real colour. Unfortunately it was impossible for me to get any coverage on my tips. Even sealing them with an extra coat it was impossible to get a layer thick enough to be opaque there.
Two coats, no top coat in the pics.

Ciao a tutti!
In all honesty I expect a much greater quality from a Zoya nail polish, both because of the brand itself and for its price tag, which is extremely expensive over here. Unfortunately I’ve been disappointed so many times already by this brand I just stopped buying from them. I am just going through the bottles I already own and try them and keep only the ones I really like. I know this might sound unpopular because there are so many people using and loving Zoya, but this brand eventually doesn’t like my nails chemistry or viceversa.
I guess that’s it for today. Let me know if you like this shade and if you can think of a cheaper alternative to it! And are you a Zoya fan?

I loved it in your full mani, but my goodness is this polish practically made for you.
ReplyDeleteEven if it is a sheer nail polish I love the color of it. Looks very pretty on you!

DeleteI dunno if its cheaper, but the OPNL Fir Elise is a more vivid version of this.
ReplyDeleteIndies are always super expensive because of shipping fees :(
DeleteIt looks gorgeous, but so sheer. Too bad that it is as watery as it looks in the bottle.
ReplyDeleteThank you Vedrana!
DeleteI only have a few Zoya and quite like them even though I do t use them very often. Too bad you couldn't find one you liked.
ReplyDeleteI have a few bottles I liked but they are less than the ones that disappointed me.
DeleteYou wear green polish very well. Not everyone can do that. It's too bad about the formula on this one.
