Accessorize Morning Dew
Accessorize is a UK brand selling just like… everything? They have cutesy stuff, bags, cosmetics, accessories, jewerly and a lot more. In Italy we only get some of the nail polish from their cosmetic line. They are not cheap over here but I find them really pretty.
Accessorize Morning Dew is an aqua/turquoise foil filled with gold flecks. I know there are a lilac and a pink sisters to it for sure, but I resisted them!
One or two coats make no difference opacity wise, and I would say even not duration wise. This one started chipping quite soon but I don’t regret buying it at all. I have nothing like it in my stash! It kinda reminds me of OPI Reflecting Pool but the golden flecks are probably less visible.
Application was easy, and removal, too, although I was worried about the flakes! Actually, removal was funny, you’ll see what I mean just below.
L’Accessorize come forse sapete è una marca inglese che vende di tutto, dalle “cianfrusaglie” alle borse, cosmetici, bigiotteria, vestiario etc. Da noi in Italia come cosmetici si trovano solo gli smalti, pochi e non sempre tra l’altro. Non sono neanche economicissimi, adesso sono ribassati a 3,90€ per la minibocetta da 5ml (appena arrivati in Italia costavano di più). Cmq alcuni sono proprio carini.
L’Accessorize Morning Dew è un foil color acqua/turchese pieno di flakies dorati. So che esistono anche un fratello rosa e uno lilla ma io ho resistito.
Una o due passate non fa alcuna differenza come coprenza.. e neanche come durata dato che si scheggia abbastanza velocemente. In ogni caso sono contenta di averlo comprato perchè non ho nulla di simile nella mia collezione. Mi ricorda vagamente l’OPI Reflecting Pool, ma qua i flakies si vedono meno.
La stesura è semplicissima, e anche la rimozione nonostante fossi abbastanza spaventata dai flakies appunto. A dire il vero durante la rimozione è successa una cosa strana che vi faccio vedere sotto.

Now see what I found funny: I was using the foil method to remove and when I checked if I was done I found this out and I just had to take a pic and share! The blue colour went away leaving a silver base, while the gold flakes were still intact. Wouldn’t it be another pretty shade like this?
Ecco, guardate cos’ho trovato particolare! Stavo togliendo lo smalto col metodo della carta stagnola (circa, modificato a modo mio senza la stagnola) e quando ho controllato per vedere a che punto stava mi sono accorta di questa stranezza e ho dovuto fotografarla e farvi vedere! Il colore era completamente andato lasciando una base argentea, mentre i flakies erano ancora tutti belli al loro posto. Ma non sarebbe un bello smalto anche in questa versione??
