Hi everyone!
Following the sneek peak of last Thursday here we go! My Italian nail polish friends and I decided to hop on this new quest inspired by the colours of the rainbow. We shall not call it a challenge, because it’s not, it’s a way to do something all together and share it with all of you reading us :)
So, the first colour of the rainbow is obviously red and my choice was quite simple: a very elegant red crème. It’s called Red Gaia by Nailmode. I know that this brand is Italian but nothing else really, I found this polish in a GlossyBox kind of thing. It’s a wonderful classic shade, easy to apply, almost jelly-ish, opaque in two coats. In the pics you can see it without top coat, look at how incredibly glossy it is! I am more and more surprised of how much I like red on my nails lately. I feel elegant.

Dopo la piccola anteprima di giovedì scorso eccoci alla partenza! Con le solite note smaltamiche abbiamo deciso di lanciarci in questa nuova avventura dedicata all’arcobaleno. Non la chiamo challenge perchè non lo è, è solo un’idea che abbiamo avuto per fare qualcosa tutte assieme :)
Dunque, come sapete il primo colore dell’arcobaleno è il rosso. La mia scelta è abbastanza semplice: un rosso lacca. Per la precisione questo è il Red Gaia di Nailmode, marca italiana di cui sinceramente non so molto. Ho ricevuto questo smalto in una GlossyBox o scatola simile. Il colore è un classico, sempre elegante. Lo smalto in sè è facile da stendere, quasi un jelly, coprente in due passate e straordinariamente lucido: nelle foto non ho top coat!
Sono sempre più sorpresa di quanto mi piaccia il rosso sulle unghie negli ultimi tempi.

Red to me is also the colour of love. For this reason I decided to stamp over it with a Valentine-y image! DRK-A plate and Essie Nothing Else Metals. The pictures don’t do my manicure justice. It wasn’t perfect but the result was awesome irl!
Il rosso per me è il colore dell’amore tra le altre cose. Per questo motivo ho deciso di provare una stampa molto San Valentinesca! Ho usato la plate DRK-A e l’Essie Nothing Else Metals. Le foto non rendono giustizia a quanto era bella la manicure in realtà. Certo non è precisa ma faceva la sua porca figura!
