Hi everyone!
Super short today because I have tons of things to do!
This is Shimmer Jennifer layered as a gradient over Shaka Storm (very similar to Nubar Sapphire).
As any other Shimmer glitter this is just so great to work with. The glitter payoff is amazing and it spreads out evenly, which is the feature I love most about Shimmer Polish’s. No unpleasant holes here!
Ciao a tutti!
I think I kinda killed the coloured glitters inside Shimmer Jennifer with the dark base, it would probably look better on a baby blue or something along those lines but alas! I think this is the first or second layering I get wrong with a Shimmer, it happens guys! Not that it looks bad uh! But it probably shows 60% of her beauty only!
How do you like? What base colour would you use underneath?
And the info box: Shimmer Polish is based in California and ships internationally. You can find her creations at:
Potete trovare i suoi smalti su:

I had Jennifer on just yesterday! She's so so pretty :) I used a light grey/blue gradient as a base :)
ReplyDeleteI definitely think you picked a way better base than I did!
DeleteOh, I just love Jennifer! I must take it out from my Helmer and wear it again <3
ReplyDeleteI think I love all of mine, it's hard to pick a favourite!
DeleteI don't think you killed the shimmer :) Maybe a tone or two lighter shade as a base would work better but the glitter is still visible well.
ReplyDeleteThank you! Yes, some lighter tones would work better!
DeleteI think it looks lovely! I adore Shimmer Polish and they look great as gradients like this. <3

DeleteThis looks great! That polish is gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteI dont think you killed the shimmer/glitter at all. I love how nicely Jennifer blends in with the base adding a bit of subtly, like they were made to be paired together!
ReplyDeleteAwwww thank you!
