Hi everyone!
Today I am happy to join Ky in a brand new series featuring all the different nail polish finishes. I’ve been wanting to do something like this on the blog for a long time. There are a lot of guides for nail polish finishes around, not so many in Italian though. So this was mostly a thought for my Italian readers honestly. When Ky suggested the Finishpedia (encyclopedia of nail polish finish!) as a new weekly challenge I was happy to join her! This way I can finally do this “guide” but I don’t need to do it all at once.
First finish is creme, the basic finish for nail polish I would say. A creme is basically a plain colour without any special effect or sparkle of some sort. It also has a smooth glossy surface when you touch it.
While searching for pics for this post I realized I really post very few on the blog! Here are some examples anyway.

Oggi sono contenta di aggregarmi ad una nuova serie di post proposta di Ky duranta la quale vi faremo conoscere i vari finish degli smalti.
Volevo fare qualcosa del genere da tantissimo tempo ma ho continuato a rimandare all’infinito finchè Ky non ha proposto questa serie come un appuntamento settimanale. In questo modo finalmente riuscirò a fare questa specie di guida, ma senza doverla mettere giù tutta assieme.
Il primo finish è il creme, comunemente chiamato lacca da noi (anche se non sono al 100% la stessa cosa a voler esser pignoli). Uno smalto creme ha un colore solido ed omogeneo senza effetti speciali o sbrilluccichii di alcun tipo. Quando si asciuga è liscio al tatto.
Mentre cercavo foto per questo post mi sono resa conto che ne metto davvero pochi sul blog, anche se ne uso parecchi come basi da nail art. Ecco qualche esempio cmq!

DeleteCreams are my favorite polish! Perfect polishes to use as bases for my nail art and most creams I own are great stampers as well!

DeleteThis is a great series! I think the ones that always are confused are frost/ metallic/ chrome finishes, so it'll be great to see those!

DeleteGorgeous swatches. I like cremes best for nail art. Otherwise I tend to jazz them up a bit with some glitter.

DeleteI like all of these colors! I tend to pick more elaborate shades than cremes on most days, but you can't beat that smooth full color sometimes!
