Yay for me for finally making my Sunday post :)
Today I have some swatches of Orly Sparkling Garbage which was released in Summer 2013 Mash Up collection. It was a huge success back then in the nail addicts world but I’ve never had the chance to put my hands over it until now.
Orly Sparkling Garbage is made of some very fine holographic aqua glitters and I doubted it would be opaque by itself. Therefore I decided to layer it over Pupa Chrome 17 Emerald Green. These are 2 coats.

Oggi ho per voi gli swatches dell’Orly Sparkling Garbage, facente parte della collezione estiva 2013 Mash Up. Questo smalto è stato un gran successo per le smaltare di tutto il mondo quando è uscito ma io sono riuscita a rimediarlo solo adesso.
L’Orly Sparkling Garbage è fatto di finissimi glitter olografici color acqua e dubito che possa essere coprente da solo. Per questo motivo io l’ho steso sul Pupa Chrome 17 Emerald Green. Queste sono 2 passate.

What can I say? I didn’t love Orly Sparkling Garbage as much as I expected. I think I probably used the wrong underwear for it, the chrome base didn’t make it pop. I’m sure I will give it a second chance though because I think it has some great potential that I wasted.
Btw, I got this polish from enails.eu which is an e-shop located in Lithuania and shipping worldwide. It’s interesting for us Europeans mostly because there’s no customs risks involved from there.
Any suggestion for a better underwear for Orly Sparkling Garbage? I would appreciate any idea!

Che dire? Non mi è piaciuto quanto mi aspettavo. Probabilmente ho usato una mutanda sbagliata, la base cromata non l’ha fatto risaltare come meritava. Di sicuro lo userò di nuovo perchè penso che abbia un grande potenziale che questa volta non ho sfruttato.
Questo smalto l’ho avuto da enails.eu che è uno shop online lituano, ed è molto interessante per noi italiane, perchè essendo nell’Unione Europea non si incorre nel rischio dogana.
Avete qualche idea per una base migliore per l’Orly Sparkling Garbage? I suggerimenti sono ben accetti!

Potresti provarlo sopra una crema o uno shimmer in tono, che ne dici? Da qualche parte mi sembra di averlo visto layerato sul suo collega di collezione "Pretty Ugly", avrai senz'altro qualcosa di simile nella tua smalto-caverna delle meraviglie! :D

Hmmm nin zo, penso che prima proverò una base scura. Ho paura che la base chiara non cambi molto da questa prova!

DeleteQuesto smalto è una bomba! Preso appena uscito e lo amo alla follia, anche da solo nonostante le 3/4 mani per avere una buona coprenza. Riprovalo su una base creme, è un dovere civile! :D Secondo me la base cromata porta un elemento di "disturbo" ai glitter holo.

DeleteEssendo così chiaro di base io l'anno scorso l'ho provato su un colore simile, shaka sugary green, però mi piace molto anche il tuo layering, SG è favoloso in tutte le salse

DeleteStupendo *_* ce l'ho sempre in mente quando guardo la roba di Orly e prima o poi lo recupero. Forse una base leggermente più scura lo farebbe risaltare di più?

DeleteAmazing swatches! Perhaps you didn't like it as much as you would've thought because it's such a pale tone.. perhaps you'd like it a bit greener? I love the sparkliness though, so pretty!
