Hi everyone!
Back with another holo beauty today. Lady Venezia is a cheap Italian brand and sometimes I find some nice gems when I look through their mini bottles. A few weeks ago I spotted this silver holo that had obvious flakies to be seen in the bottle. Come on, a 99cent holo polish with flakies? I couldn’t leave it in the shop! Unfortunately the flakies weren’t visible once I wore it on my nails, which is totally weird because it’s jam packed with those darn little things! My only guess is that the polish itself is so opaque that it covers the flakies. Not sure, but I was a bit disappointed. Well, 99 cent, k? I can’t be disappointed for real.
Ciao a tutti!
Can you see some of those flakies in the last photo? And how do you like flakies over holos? Is it something you are fan of?
Riuscite a vedere qualche scaglietta nell’ultima foto? E vi piacciono i flakies negli holo o anche no?

ReplyDeleteWow, that's stunning!
ReplyDeleteThanks!
DeleteI have this one! Actually I have two, the second one is red - pink with quite large flakies. This Lady Venezia really can be surprising! I like both of them I have.
ReplyDeleteI've heard about the pink sister but I've never found it myself!
ReplyDeleteTu spulcia ogni volta ;)
DeleteIntravedo i flakini nell'ultima foto e mi piacciono molto!
DeleteThis polish is gorgeous, flakies over holo: perfect !
ReplyDeleteThank you!
ReplyDeleteEven though the flakies don't really show up, for that amount of money it's gorgeous either way!
ReplyDeleteThat's a great point indeed!
DeleteIt's a shame the flakies don't show cos it really is a fabulous polish otherwise.
ReplyDeleteI agree!
DeleteIt might be a cheap Italian brand bu tit doesn't look cheap at all. This polish is stunning!
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteOh what a bummer about the hidden flakies. It's still beautiful though!
ReplyDeleteThank you Jenny!
DeleteI can definitely see the flakies in your shade pic. How nice! I wish we had cheap holos like this in the US. Last time I went to Italy I stocked up on the Pupa holos at the Milan airport duty free :D
ReplyDeletePupa holos were very pretty, but not cheap at all!
DeleteThe holo definitely overpowers the flakies in this polish, but it's still so beautiful all the same.
ReplyDeleteYes, even though it's so packed with them :(
DeleteWhat a knockout for .99!! I wouldn't find any this beautiful here in the states!!!!!
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad sometimes we do have something this good!
DeleteVoglio, voglio e ancora voglio, come ti ho già detto :D Domani vado a vedere se lo trovo in giro :D
ReplyDeleteNel mentre io cerco il rosa :P
DeleteWow - this is a great holo for 99 cents! And I can totally see some flakies in that last pic - maybe they just peek out in the shade or low lighting.
ReplyDeleteNot really unfortunately :(
DeleteOh man if I found a holo at that price I would need it, too! Pretty!
ReplyDeleteHaha I agree!
DeleteThanks!
