Wood watch inspired nails

Hi everyone!

I am back with a mani inspired by a Jord wood watch. I didn’t even know there was such a thing like wooden watches! And they are incredible! At least for people who love Earth tones and anything wood!

I was really inspired by the box of the watch and the clock face (hope this is the English name?) and went for something to match them.

I started with a couple coats of China Glaze Classic Camel, which seemed a better choice than a regular creme because wood is not plain. Know what I mean? I then stamped over it wit a brown by P2 and a pattern from an Essence plate. I have no idea what this pattern is meant to be, maybe some animal print? But I think it really reminds the veins from the trees, too. I sealed the mani with Essence matte top coat and I called it done. Let’s have a look!

Oggi vi faccio vedere una nail art inspirata a un orologio di legno Jord. Non sapevo neanche che esistessero orologi da polso di legno! E li trovo bellissimi, poi io adoro tutto ciò che è legno e colori della terra.

L’ispirazione della nail art di oggi è venuta dai colori della scatola e del quadrante dell’orologio.

Sono partita con due passate di China Glaze Classic Camel, che mi sembrava una scelta migliore di una lacca dato che il legno non ha un colore piatto! Poi ci ho stampato sopra con uno smalto marrone P2 e un disegno di una plate Essence. Probabilmente questo motivo è animalier, ma a me ricordava anche le venature del legno! Ho sigillato il tutto col top coat matte di Essence e ho finito così. La vediamo?

Voglio farvi vedere qualche altro dettaglio di questo orologio perchè è troppo bello, scusate le mille foto! E poi vi ho detto che sono stata ispirata dalla scatola e mi sembra il minimo metterla da qualche parte, no?

Now I am not sure why I went for the box and clock face colours to be honest because I think the watchband colours are gorgeous, maybe even more than the inside. I mean, look at the pattern in the photo above! I know a lot of people don’t like brown on the nails but I do love brown everywhere and I always say that! Well, it might be an idea for another nail art, who knows!

And now let’s see what Jord’s Fieldcrest Zebrawood & Maple watch  looks like around my wrist and on my sexy boyfriend. I haven’t mentioned the watch is his haha! He kept asking when he could have it back because I kinda seized it until I was done with my mani!

Non so perchè mi abbiano ispirata i colori del quadrante e del packaging onestamente, quelli del cinturino sono ancora più belli! Guardate che sfumature nella foto qui sopra! Mi rendo conto che a tante persone non piace il marrone sulle unghie, ma è un colore che io adoro in tutte le salse e lo dico sempre. Cmq il cinturino potrebbe essere l’idea per un’altra nail art :D

E adesso vediamo se questo orologio Jord serie Fieldcrest col. Zebrawood & Maple sta meglio a me o alla mia dolce metà! Non ve l’ho mica detto che l’orologio è il suo? :D Gliel’ho sequestrato per fare la nail art e continuava a chiedermi quando poteva riaverlo ahah, povero!
