Hi everyone!
After showing you some Italian nail polish I’m back to an International (for me) one! This beauty is Sally Hansen Save the Date and it’s a gorgeous purple. It’s not a true duochrome if you are wondering, but it definitely changes its hue depending on how the light hits it.
Application was super easy and it dries extremely glossy. Only downside is it doesn’t really dry on its own. I painted my nails in my lunch break and I forgot to bring a top coat with me. The morning after I had bed sheet marks on all of my nails! That means it hadn’t fully dried in about 11 hours?! A bit too long uh!

Dopo qualche smalto italianissimo torno di nuovo oltreconfine. Questa bellezza è Sally Hansen Save the Date, un colore indefinito tra il sangria e il viola. Non è un vero smalto duocromatico ma cambia decisamente colore a seconda di come la luce arriva sulle unghie.
La stesura è semplice e il finish molto lucente. Purtroppo però si può dire che da solo non asciuga. Mi sono data questo smalto in pausa pranzo, senza top coat perchè l’avevo dimenticato a casa. La mattina dopo avevo i segni delle lenzuola su ogni singola unghia! Praticamente in 11 ore non s’è asciugato! Un po’ troppo direi…

The colour itself is really gorgeous, I only wished the shimmer was a little more prominent. You’ll see how I worked around that in my next post!
Until then let me know how you like this colour and what you feel about Sally Hansen nail polish. For me so far so good, I am super happy of all the colours I’ve tried from this brand. Too bad it’s super expensive over here!
Il colore è stupendo, c’è poco da girarci intorno. L’unica cosa che avrei voluto è uno shimmer un po’ più deciso. Nel prossimo post vi faccio vedere come ho risolto questa pecca ;)
Fino ad allora fatemi sapere cosa ne pensate di questo colore e anche del marchio Sally Hansen. Io ho avuto solo esperienze positive con questi smalti finora. Peccato che qua in Italia costino un occhio!

11 ore di asciugatura è decisamente troppo. Peccato perchè il colore mi piace davvero molto :)
