Subtle winter holo stamping nail art

New nail art, woot woot!

While I was wearing TNS no. 551 Fortuna I thought it perfectly matched my new Seagreen holo stamping polish no. 03 by BeautyBigBang. Plus they looked perfect for a winter mani side by side.

I picked a pattern from BeautyBigBang's BBBXL-030 plate which is filled with gorgeous festive designs. Unfortunately the result is extremely subtle, way more than I guessed. The snowflakes from the pattern aren't really showing which is a shame because I loved them. Don't get me wrong: both the plate and the polish worked great and the pattern fully transferred to my nails. The holo kinda gets lost on base colour though because they are too similar. That's the mistake. I'll make sure to use this holo stamping polish again on a darker base, I think it will really rock that way.

Oh, on my middle it's two coats of the holo alone! I think it's a little sheer. I should have applied it over TNS Fortuna instead of removing it first.

Isn't this plate gorgeous? I really think you need it for your Christmas manis! All of them are lovely, I own 3 out of 5 and I really hope I can get the most out of them this year.

Despite this nail art not turning out the way I had meant it I still liked wearing it. Do you like it?
