TNS Cosmetics 565 Ricordo (Altrove)

Today I'm showing you the first nail polish I own from TNS Cosmetics Firenze's Altrove collection.

Altrove is the Spring-Summer 2019 collection from this Italian salon brand and I was quite surprised by the colour palette when I first saw it. No. 565 Ricordo is the one that really got me puzzled.

TNS describes it as a chocolate brown, but slightly lighter. They also say it's a classic to wear any time, dark and feminine.

I really wanted to understand why they choose such a shade for Spring-Summer. And you know what? I did understand.

TNS n. 565 Ricordo is indeed a shade that you can wear any time and anywhere. It's a red leaning brown creme. It's not too dark, it's both brown and red. It's a shade for any occasion and for all skin types. It looks great on my pale skin but it would really enhance a tan, too. It would fit any collection from any season honestly.

Quality wise it's what you would expect from a salon nail polish. It goes on smooth and it's perfectly opaque in two easy coats. Using it with both TNS Cosmetics Flash base and top coat it lasted 5 days on my nails. I removed it because of some minor tipwear. It didn't chip or anything like that.
