Week-end hauls

Ehi ladies! As promised I have a couple shots of my week-end hauls! First, last Thursday I was finally able to find the new Layla holos in a high end drugstore not far from home! I bought 2 out of 8, but honestly, the whole series is amazing! I got the darkest shades, #8 Flash Black and #7 Ocean Rush. These babies are expensive, that’s why I only grabbed two.

Ciao a tutte! Come promesso oggi ho un paio di foto dei miei acquisti del week-end. Prima di tutto finalmente sono riuscita a trovare gli holo della Layla. Sono davvero bellissimi, ma dato il prezzo mi sono limitata ai 2 colori più scuri, il n. 7 Ocean Rush e il n. 8 Flash Black.

Then on Saturday morning I went on the hunt for the new Deborah Milano Scarab effect, a series of 5 duochrome polishes, brand new limited edition, and I spotted them! Here’s the stolen shot! As you see there are two gold to green, might be Chanel Peridot dupes, a copper one (which I wasn’t able to see the duochrome honestly), a green to blue and a lilac to purple. I bought #72 which is the one on the very left.

Poi sabato mattina sono andata alla ricerca dei nuovi Deborah effetto scarabeo, una serie a edizione limitata di duochrome nuovi nuovi. Ecco una foto rubata in negozio! Come potete vedere ci sono due simil-Chanel Peridot che vanno dall’oro al verde, un rame di cui non ho trovato il secondo colore, un verde-blu e un grigio-lilla. Ho preso il n. 72 che è quello più a sinistra sfuocato.

While I was looking at the Scarabs I also noticed they had the new Pret-à-Porter line shades (mini bottles). I don’t like that line, I already show you two of those polishes and I was not impressed. But then! I spotted a duochrome and I couldn’t resist! This is #57 Carpe Diem, I grabbed it because I saw some blue in it, so hopefully it won’t just be the usual green to purple effect that we’ve seen in every brand so far. Here are the Deborahs side by side, and you can better see the might-be Peridot dupe.

Mentre guardavo gli effetto scarabeo ho notato i nuovi colori della linea Pret-à-Porter. Vi ho già fatto vedere 2 smalti di quella linea e come vi ho detto non mi piace granchè. …e poi ho visto un duochrome! E non ho resistito. E’ il n. 57 Carpe Diem, l’ho preso perchè ci ho visto del blu e spero che non sia solo il solito verde-a-viola visto in tutte le salse e in tutte le marche. Ecco i due Deborah fianco a fianco, potete anche vedere l’effetto Peridot dello Scarabeo.

Now if only we could get sun! Unfortunately we are expected to have snow for a couple weeks as of tomorrow so I will probably wait for better days to swatch all of them (almost! I already wore the Layla black one and I have it on right now!).

Ora se solo arrivasse un po’ di sole.. ma stiamo aspettando la neve, e dicono che durerà per un paio di settimane a partire da domani quindi penso che gli swatch dovranno aspettare. A parte il Layla nero che ho già addosso!!
