Back to nail blogging :) You’ve already seen this polish as a base for >this< stamping. And now it’s time to show it on its own!
This is Sinful Colors Violets Are Blue, 3 thin coats. It’s a glassflecked cornflower polish. It’s quite sheer, as you can see on my pimkie, but if you use thicker coats you’ll have trouble with it (see that it didn’t self-level on my middle?).

Oggi si torna a parlar di smalti! Lui l’avete già visto come base per >questo< stamping. E adesso è il turno di un post tutto suo.
Ecco il Sinful Colors Violets Are Blue, 3 passate sottili. E’ uno smalto color fiordaliso con finish glassfleck. Poco coprente, come potete vedere sul mignolo, ma usare passate più ricche non è una buona idea (vedete sul mio medio che non si è autolivellato?).
I am not a fan of glassflecks so even though I see it’s gorgeous it’s just not for me.
What about you? Do you like glassflecked nail polish?
Non sono un’amante del finish glassfleck quindi vedo che questo smalto è bellissimo, ma non fa per me.
E voi? Smalti glassfleck si o no?

Its such a bummer that there were slight application issues with this polish since its such a pretty color. I actually really like glass flecked polishes. They have a little added wow factor, even when the flecks are sparse.

DeleteI love glass flecks in polish! I know sometimes they have a tendency to look frosty, but I like this one a lot! It looks great on you. Maybe you could use it for nail art if you don't like it by itself?

DeleteIt's too bad the formula was less than ideal but it happens! Either way it looks beautiful on you. Fabulous color! I like flecks/flakes...but it depends on the polish and the formula!

DeleteWhen it comes to glass flecks, I have mixed feelings. These with bigger ones - no. All in all glassflecks aren't my favourite finish. But I like how it shines and the shade is OK too :)

DeleteThis is such a pretty shade, too bad the formula sucks, that would turn me off no matter how much I like the color.

ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty color! I do love glassflecks, but I always tend to do stamping or add glitter to them (because I just can't ever stop adding things, ya know?).
