Today I have a new and quite young Italian brand on the blog. I had heard from Mia Make-Up online and I’ve almost destroyed their booth at Cosmoprof (and quickly run away). Then they’ve finally opened a store in my city. The concept is very similar to Kiko: they have their own brand stores where they sell all kind of make-up. When I first visited the store I decided to start from a couple products only and see how they’d perform. I picked up two nail polishes and one liquid lipstick.

Mia Make-Up n. 52 Azure is obviously one of the polishes. Am I too mean that I pick up notoriously hard-to-paint shades when I want to test a new brand? A pastel blue seemed like the right choice. If a shade like this works good, then everything else must!

Unfortunately it wasn’t the case with Mia Make-Up n. 52 Azure. It’s once again one of those streaky and non self-levelling pastels, quite draggy, too. Not the worse pastel blue I’ve ever tried but not a keeper either.

You can see two coats here, and if you look closely you can absolutely notice bald spots and uneven lines.

Oggi sul blog porto una marca italiana piuttosto giovane. Avevo sentito parlare di Mia Make-Up online, poi gli ho fatto crollare lo stand al Cosmoprof… e finalmente hanno aperto un negozio qui a Rimini. Negozio simil-Kiko per capirci, hanno tutto il make-up nel loro negozio monomarca. Quando sono entrata in negozio per la prima volta ho deciso di partire piano e vedere con cosa avevo a che fare: ho comprato due smaltini e un rossetto liquido.

Mia Make-Up n. 52 Azure è ovviamente uno dei due smalti. Quando voglio testare una marca nuova scelgo sempre dei colori notoriamente difficili da stendere, se funziona uno di quelli siamo a cavallo! In questo caso la scelta è caduta su un azzurro pastello.

Purtroppo non si è rivelato l’azzurro pastello senza problemi che cerco da sempre! E’ denso, non si auto livella e porta via il colore sotto. Non è il peggiore che abbia mai provato, ma nemmeno uno smalto da tenere.

Qua vedete due passate e se fate attenzione vedrete dei buchi di colore e delle righe non uniformi.

Shame on the first impression of the brand but as I’ve said above it was a hard test. Let’s see how the second nail polish will behave!

Peccato che la prima impressione della marca non sia stata delle migliori, ma come ho scritto sopra era un test veramente difficile da superare. Vediamo come si comporterà il secondo smaltino che ho comprato!
