Foliage stamping

Hi everyone!

I loved Colour Alike 108 so much that I decided to sport it again before the rain hit us. This time I stamped over it with yet another nail polish from the brand: Colour Alike 537, which is a brown to green duochrome. I wanted my branches to shift colours to be more realistic and I love the way they looked in the end. I also love that the duochrome effect is still visible despite not using a dark background, that’s what one coaters are for haha :)

Lo smalto Colour Alike 108 mi è piaciuto così tanto che ho deciso di ri-indossarlo prima che la pioggia ci colpisse. Questa volta ci ho stampato sopra con un altro smalto dello stesso brand, il Colour Alike 537 che è un duochrome che vira da verde a marrone. Volevo che i rami avessero più sfumature per essere più realistici e credo di esserci riuscita. Inoltre adoro che questo smalto non abbia bisogno di base scura per cambiare colore, ma dopotutto è la caratteristica degli smalti coprenti in una passata ;)

I even tried using a matte top coat but I honestly didn’t like it matte and went back to glossy afterwards.

Ho anche provato a mattificare questa nail art ma l’esperimento non mi è piaciuto e ci ho rimesso sopra un top coat glossy alla fine.

If you feel like you’ve seen the pattern before it’s easy said why: it comes from my beloved BP-19 plate from BornPrettyStore. I used this same plate last week for my Welcome Fall mani.

Se il disegno vi sembra conosciuto è presto detto il perchè: è uno di quelli sul dischetto da stamping BP-19 di BornPrettyStore che ho usato anche la scorsa settimana per la mia manicure di benvenuto all’autunno.
