[ITA & ENG]
Ciao a tutti!
Hi everyone!
Let’s start this week off with a very work-appropriate nail polish colour, a rosey nude. I wore Shaka Deep Nude for a job interview where they clearly make me understand I’m too old. I have to find another shade which brings me luck for this journey.
Anyway, let’s talk Shaka Deep Nude. As I said above it’s a rosey nude. Formula is not good unfortunately, it’s thick and patchy, hard to paint and doesn’t self level. You gotta be patient and paint thin layers, or either look for another nude out there!
Two coats, no top coat.
E come vi siete trovati?
This colour doesn’t suit me anyway, it’s too pink on my skin tone. However I’m always sad to find bad apples from a brand I love. And Shaka is one of my favourite budget friendly Italian brands. I also get you can’t nail it every time, especially with such a cheap price tag.
How do you feel when a brand you love disappoints you?

I cross my fingers for your next job interview - I`m sure it will go better :) Shaka`s colour is very nice, it`s a pity it`s not that good...
ReplyDeleteThank you so much!
DeletePrayers and all the good wishes for your next job interview! It's a nice color but it's sad to hear about the formula!

DeleteI like these kind of rosey nudes!
ReplyDeleteThank you Andrea!
Oh my, I just love these kind of shades! Don't know how many I have already but never get bored with it!
ReplyDeleteThank you Miriam! I love a good neutral, too!
DeleteFingers crossed for your job search, I remember the pain of wearing work appropriate polish for mine last year

DeleteBest of luck on the next interview and color from this brand. I know it sucks when a polish doesn't live up to the expectations you have and come to love about the brand.
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteLovely neutral shade!
ReplyDeleteThank you Manna!
DeleteThis really is a rosy nude, but you're right...the pink is a little off for your skin-tone. You'll find a great nude for sure! Good luck on the job hunt!
