China Glaze Celtic Sun

E’ inutile, non riesco ad accettare che l’estate sia finendo. Mi ritrovo ad usare sempre più spesso colori neon sulle unghie per combattere l’evidenza. Questa volta è toccato ad uno smalto China Glaze.

China Glaze Celtic Sun* è un giallo evidenziatore che necessita per forza di una base bianca, in quanto da solo non risulta coprente nemmeno con 4 passate. Una volta stese due mani su base bianca però, eccolo là, in tutto il suo splendore! Trovo che molti smalti di questo colore tendano leggermente al verde, ma non è il caso di China Glaze Celtic Sun, che è assolutament giallo.

La consistenza è acquosa e bisogna fare attenzione a non riempirsi le cuticole. Non che si veda tanto data la sua trasparenza, ma un alone giallo non è comunque un bel vedere.

Come quasi tutti gli smalti neon asciuga semi-matte.

Due passate su base bianca + top coat.

I just can’t help, I can’t accept that Summer is soon to the end. I find myself using neon colours on my nails more often to avoid the truth. This time it was a China Glaze neon.

China Glaze Celtic Sun* is a highlighter yellow that absolutely needs a white base underneath because it’s still sheer after 4 coats. Once you apply 2 coats over white though you get this beautiful bright look. I find that most neon yellows have some green tinge but it’s not the case with China Glaze Celtic Sun. This is a pure yellow.

Formula is watery so you gotta pay attention to avoid flooding your cuticles. Not that you’d notice that much being it so sheer, but a yellow tinge all around your cuticles is not pretty either.

As most neons it dries semi-matte.

Two coats over a white base, plus top coat.

China Glaze Celtic Sun è stato lanciato con la collezione Ink nel lontano 2008, ma è entrato tra i colori della linea permanente del brand e potete trovarlo facilmente anche dai rivenditori italiani. Vi ricordo che il distributore è Clarissa Nails.
