LOreal Mysterious Icon

Hi everyone!

Today I’m showing you a very special polish: L’Oreal Mysterious Icon. I bought it because it reminded me of Illamasqua Facet, that I can’t really afford but I really liked.

Name is perfect for it: very mysterious. Depending on the light conditions it’s rose gold, taupe or brown. And that gold shimmer is amazing! The brush is my favourite type, flat and round, which makes application super easy. Shame that this nail polish line lasts less than a day on my nails.

Oggi vi mostro uno smalto dalla tonalità molto particolare: L’Oreal Mysterious Icon. L’ho comprato perchè mi ricordava tantissimo Illamasqua Facet, smalto troppo caro per le mie tasche.

Il nome lo descrive benissimo: è davvero misterioso. A seconda della luce il colore è rosa antico, fango o marrone. E lo shimmer dorato è davvero pazzesco! Il pennello è quello che piace a me, piatto e arrotondato. La stesura è semplicissima, peccato solo che su di me questa linea di smalti duri meno di una giornata.

In foto sono due passate senza top coat, e potete vedere le varie colorazioni che assume.

    It does look very similar to Illamasqua Facet! I'm a huge fan of drugstore brands, they're so fun!

    That's a really pretty color. Definitely a good, inexpensive alternative for Facet. I'm happy to see drugstore brands getting some love.

    What an absolutely gorgeous polish!! The downside to L'Oreal is they test on animals. That is the only thing keeping me from them. I am still ashamed I put my morals aside to get Masked Affair. haha

      I think it's a cheap alternative rather than a real dupe, but I'm good with it!
