Hi everyone!
Today I’m showing you the second holiday nail art for the month. The prompt is Christmas lights.
I started with Zoya Suvi as a base but I really disliked it, it’s sheer and I couldn’t make my tips opaque enough as you can see. Golden stamping polish comes from Bornprettystore, same goes for BP-40 stamping plate.

Oggi vi mostro la seconda nail art natalizia del mese, questa volta a tema luci di Natale.
Lo smalto di base è Zoya Suvi, con cui purtroppo non mi sono trovata bene, vedete come è poco coprente sulle punte, orribile. Lo smalto oro è uno di quelli speciali da stampa di Bornprettystore, il dischetto che ho usato è il BP-40, anch’esso di Bornpretty.
Can I say I was uninspired? I failed so many manis these days it got frustrating.
I guess I need something simple for a break, but I am really sad I can’t keep up with the challenge doing that! Nail bloggers problems.

Diciamo che non ero tanto ispirata? Questi giorni sono stati disastrosi in fatto di nail art, non me n’è uscita una dritta purtroppo. E’ una cosa frustrante!
Penso di aver bisogno di una pausa dalle nail art per staccare la spina, e allo stesso tempo mi scoccia non continuare con la challenge. Problemi da nail blogger!
Per oggi è tutto, voi che fate quando non vi riesce una nail art dopo l’altra? Se vi è mai capitato ovviamente.

Failed manis are the worst and of course we are our own worst critic. When it happens to me I just go for an untried. No art, no techniques...nothing. It's like cleansing the palate if you will.

DeleteI don't really do much nail art, but I can imagine doing a simple black and white geometrical mani would help kick you out of a funk.

ReplyDeleteriguardo la frustrazione da nail art: generalmente torno ai "monocolore", quindi via a smalti "da soli" fino a quando non torna l'ispirazione e/o fino a quando ritorna la buona sorte con la manualità ;) ahahah

DeleteA me piace come è venuta, anche se forse ci avrei aggiunto un tocco colorato con il dotter... ma si sa, la sobrietà non è il mio forte :-)
