China Glaze: Sea Spray

Today I’m gonna show you some pics of China Glaze’s Sea Spray. This is the first ChG I’ve ever tried and man, am I satisfied! Sea Spray is part of ChG’s latest spring-summer collection called Anchors Away. To be honest it was hard to resist not getting the whole collection, I was in love with all colours. But in the end I picked two, and Sea Spray is the first one I tried. Let me tell you, this colour is amazing. It’s exactly what I love of a polish! It’s not a duochrome but you are not able to tell if it’s a blue or a gray. And, it’s a shimmer! Love, love, love! If you put your nail by something blue you would think Sea Spray is a light gray. But if you are near something gray, you would consider it a pastel blue. Again, this is exactly what I love in a colour, when you are not able to say what it is. And it’s funny when people try to tell you how beautiful it is: “Oh my, your nails are awesome, what a fantastic tone of blue… ehrm… gray?”. Gotta love that!

Application was awesome and I kept looking at the colour and its shimmer all the time while I’ve had this one. It’s a tone I’d never get sick of! Now on to the pics, they are all 2 coats + base coat + Seche Vite Top Coat.

Oggi vi voglio parlare e mostrare lo smalto Sea Spray della China Glaze. E’ il mio primo ChG e wow, è fantastico! Sea Spray fa parte dell’ultima collezione primavera-estate Anchors Away. E’ stato difficilissimo non prendere l’intera collezione perchè i colori erano tutti bellissimi. Alla fine cmq mi sono limitata a due, e Sea Spray è il primo che ho provato. Questo colore è stupendissimo. E’ esattamente quello che mi piace in uno smalto. Non è un duochrome ma in ogni caso non si riesce a capire se sia un azzurro o un grigio. Ed è shimmer! Lo amo. Se mettete le unghie vicino a qualcosa di grigio è blu, ma se le mettete vicino a qualcosa di blu allora è grigio. Insomma, entrambi i colori o nessuno, chissà! Come ripeto, è proprio quello che amo in uno smalto quando non riesci a capire che colore è. E poi è troppo bello quando la gente cerca di farti i complimenti per lo smalto e se ne escono con un “Ma che bellissima tonalità di grig… ehmm… azzurro?!”. Fantastico!

L’applicazione è stata perfetta e ho continuato a rimirarmelo per tutto il tempo che l’ho avuto su. E’ una tonalità di cui non mi stancherei proprio mai. Ma ora passiamo alle foto! Sono tutte due mani di Sea Spray + una di base + una di top coat (io uso il Seche Vite).
