Oggi ho messo mano ai miei smalti per capire quanti ne ho già swatchati (pochissimi!!!) e quanti ancora ne ho che non ho mai messo (una marea). Se non altro ho fatto un po’ d’ordine.

Oggi vi faccio vedere uno smalto di qualche settimana fa. La consistenza era orribile e l’ho tolto praticamente subito. Si tratta dell’Essence MultiDimension Makes Me Weak (n. 70), che presto la Essence toglierà dal commercio assieme a tutta la linea MultiDimension.

Devo dire che da un lato mi dispiace perchè alcuni smalti della linea sono meravigliosi, ad esempio il Wanna Kiss e il Movin’ On, ma altri come questo e come il Fall For Love non li rimpiangerò.

Dunque, volevo provare un color pesca ed ero indecisa tra Essence e Catrice e alla fine li ho presi entrambi e li ho usati assieme in questa manicure normalissima. Il Catrice Apropot Apricot (520) l’ho usato sull’anulare per dare quel tocco che va tanto di moda, ma che in realtà qua non si vedeva quasi per niente.
Come tutti i pastello o quasi la formula è troppo gommosa e stendere lo smalto è stata un’impresa, qui sono 2 passate dell’Essence e addirittura 3 del Catrice. Entrambi bocciati, tra l’altro il colore non mi è nemmeno piaciuto su di me.

Today I put my hands in my polish stash to understand how many I already swatched (too few!) and how many untrieds I still have (a whole lot). And I made some order in them.

Today I’m gonna show you a polish that I wore a couple weeks ago. Formula was awful and I removed it almost immediately. It’s Essence MultiDimension Makes Me Weak (70) which Essence will soon discontinue together with the whole MultiDimension line.

I must say that I am sad for some of these polishes to go because they are awesome, for example Wanna Kiss and Movin’ On, but some other of the same line I won’t sure regret, like this one and Fall For Love.

Sooo, I wanted to try some peach color and I wasn’t sure between Catrice Apropos Apricot and Essence Makes Me Weak so I bought them both and used them together for this extremely simple mani. On the ring finger I used Catrice Apropos Apricot as accent, all the rest is Essence Makes Me Weak. Actually the accent nail wasn’t really so visible although the colours are sure different.

As almost all pastels the formula was thick and layering the polish was hard. Here I put 2 coats of Essence and 3 of Catrice. I didn’t like them and even not the colour on me.

Se ingrandite l’immagine vedete che entrambi mi han fatto le bolle e non sono riuscita a fare di meglio, e lo smalto sembra già rovinato, mentre sono foto scattate appena dato! Disastro su tutta la linea insomma.
E per le cuticole orribili… non mi ricordo perchè fossero in quello stato pietoso, forse perchè per sistemare lo smalto ho fatto un’opera di pulizia esagerata e ho chiesto loro troppo.
Allora, voi avete nessuno di questi due smalti? Vi è andata meglio di me con la stesura?

If you open the bigger pic you’ll see that both bubbled on me and I couldn’t do any better than this. Plus the polish already looks damaged even if the pics were taken just after I applied it. A complete disaster.

And for the awful cuticles, I can’t remember why they were so messy and dry, maybe because fixing the polish was really tough.
