OPI Spotted

Hi there everyone! Super short today because I am so tired I just wanna go to bed! This is OPI Spotted. I know you don’t need to read anything more about it. The hype started from France and it’s now available in more European countries, too. In Italy it is an online exclusive at Sephora. Unfortunately my friends and I were super excited about it and we had no idea it would have been released in Italy as well so we ordered it from Sephora France. Well guys, trust me, do not ever order from Sephora France. The bottles came unwrapped, just tossed in a box “as is”. How do you think glass bottles can survive an International trip? Come on?! They can’t. We got 2 broken ones and polish all over the safe ones. We even had some issues about having a replacement and you know what? They sent AGAIN without bubble wrap!!!!! Unbelievable. Anyhoo, let’s have a look! First pic is OPI Spotted over OPI DS Glamour. I used a slightly thicker coat and you can see there are not many “holes”.

Ciao a tutti! Super veloce stasera perchè sono stanca morta e non vedo l’ora di andare a letto. Questo è il famosissimo OPI Spotted, che penso non abbia bisogno di tante presentazione. Il tam tam delle smaltare per questo smalto è iniziato in Francia ma adesso si trova in altri Paesi europei compresa l’Italia, anche se da noi è un’esclusiva Sephora online. Purtroppo io e le mie smaltamiche siamo state ingorde e non sapendo del suo arrivo in Italia l’abbiamo ordinato da Sephora.fr. Bhe, fidatevi di me, non ordinate MAI da Sephora Francia. Mai. Le boccette sono arrivate senza nessuna plastica, protezione o altro, semplicemente buttate dentro una scatola. E come sopravvivono delle boccette di vetro a un viaggio internazionale? Ve lo dico io: non sopravvivono! Due boccette sono arrivate in frantumi e lo smalto di quelle due ha sporcato tutte le altre. Abbiamo perfino fatto fatica ad avere un rimborso o un rimpiazzo e sapete cosa? Quando finalmente hanno deciso di rispedirci gli smalti li hanno mandati di nuovo senza nessuna protezione!!!!!!!!! Incredibili sti francesi. Ad ogni modo, guardiamolo! La prima foto è sull’OPI DS Glamour. Ho dato una mano un po’ troppo spessa e come vedete ci sono pochi “buchi”.

Second attempt was on Shaka Pop Green and I used very thin coats. And with “very thin” I mean that I cleaned up the brush before applying Spotted! And I think I got the right technique, see how pretty it is? Also the bright underwear is a better base for it :) A neon would probably be the best bet!

Il secondo tentativo sullo Shaka Pop Green è andato decisamente meglio. Ho usato una mano super fine, e intendo proprio che ho pulito il pennellino prima di dare lo smalto! E direi che questo è il modo corretto per avere un buon risultato. Oltre a quello una base più accesa è più appropriata. Quella perfetta sarebbe probabilmente un neon!
