Some black holos comparison

Pimkie: Astra #701 Ring: Layla Flash Black Middle: Hits No Olimpo Zeus Index: Color Club Revvvolution I completely forgot I also had the black holo by Catherine Arley which I bet is something in-between Astra and Color Club. These are all two coats over OPI Nail Envy. First let’s have a look at their holo effect. Layla Flash Black is obviously the most holo of the four, followed by Zeus (which probably needs three coats or a black undie for a better effect). Revvolution is the least holo.

Queste sono tutte due passate sulla mia solita base OPI Nail Envy. Prima di tutto diamo un’occhiata all’effetto olografico. Il Layla è di sicuro il più allucinogeno (cit. Serena), seguito da Zeus (che probabilmente ha bisogno di 3 mani o di essere steso sopra un nero per avere un effetto migliore). Revvvolution è il meno holo.

Then what about the colour? Despite the name Layla Flash Black is not black, it is a charcoal grey, and it is the lightest colour of the four. Zeus comes next, and then Revvolution which is sure a very dark grey, but a grey nevertheless. Astra is black. A true black holo. You can also notice once again that Revvolution is less holo than Astra.

E il colore? Nonostante il nome il Layla Flash Black non è nero ma grigio ed è la tonalità più chiara tra questi 4. Seguono rispettivamente Zeus e il Revvvolution, che è sì molto scuro, ma grigio scuro. L’Astra invece è nero. Sotto potete vedere ancora una volta che il Revvolution è meno holo dell’Astra.

What do I think? I think that Layla can’t really be compared with the other ones, both because it is a lot more lighter and because its holo effect is on another level. For my own taste my favourite is Astra #701. What do you think and which one do you prefer?

Che dite? Io penso che il Layla non possa in realtà essere paragonato agli altri 3, sia perchè il colore è molto più chiaro, sia perchè l’effetto olografico è di un altro livello. Per mio gusto personale tra i 4 preferisco l’Astra. Voi cosa ne pensate e quale vi piace di più?
