Winter nail art challenge: Snowflakes

Hi guys!

Second seasonal nail art of 2014! Today’s winter nail art challenge theme is snow or snowflakes. I picked snow but I used some unusual colours I guess. Base is Rescue Beauty Lounge Reveillon, stamping polish is Kiko mirror 619 and plate is QA86 from BornPrettyStore. Too bad the weather sucks and you can’t see the gorgeous pink shimmer of RbL Reveillon that adds so much to the pink stamping!

Seconda nail a tema festivo del 2014! Seguendo la Winter nail art challenge potevo scegliere neve o fiocchi di neve. Io ho deciso per questi ultimi ma usando dei colori diversi dal solito, credo! Lo smalto di base è il Rescue Beauty Lounge Reveillon, stampato con il Kiko mirror 619 e la plate QA86 di BornPrettyStore. Il tempo continua a fare schifo quindi non potete vedere lo splendido shimmer rosa dell’RbL Reveillon, che sta d’incanto con lo stamping dello stesso colore!

And just because #matteallthethings I added Butter London matte top coat…
E siccome #fatetuttomatte ho coperto tutto con il top coat matte di Butter London.

Kirby over at The Mergurial Magpie also teaches to #fairydustthatsh*t! so I just had to do that, too! Kirby, this is for you! I used China Glaze Wireless Holographic top coat, which is basically the same as Fairy Dust. Of course, weather keeps sucking so it’s hardly visible.

I realized I have a TON of stamping plates with snowflakes patterns but this time I used this one that I bought off BornPrettyStore.
Mi sono resa conto che ho una marea di plate coi fiocchi di neve… per questa volta ho scelto questa che avevo preso da BornPrettyStore.

And these were my snowflakes! Which version do you like best? Original, matte or holo? I honestly couldn’t pick a fave, I love them all!
E questi erano i miei fiocchi di neve! Quale versione vi piace di più? Originale, matte o olografica? Io non riesco a scegliere, mi piacciono tutte!

    In ordine originale, glitterata e mattificata, ma in realtà penso siano tutte meravigliose!!! *___* Adoro anche la combo di colori :D

    I guess matte would be nr 1, holographic - nr 2 and the glossy nr 3, but I like all of them a lot :)

    Sarà che il tempodemmmerda non ha reso giustizia alla versione olografica della tua nail art, ma mi sento di preferire la versione matte. Aiuto, sono grave? Comunque in parecchie avete usato colori diversi dai soliti bianco-azzurro-blu, e 'sta cose me piasce!

    Matte. I colori si armonizzano alla perfezione. Ma pure la combo matte+holo non scherza mica.

      Really?? It's a combination I've always loved! I remember having a lovely pink and dress when I went to school, it was my favourite back in the days!

    I fiocchi di neve in versione rosa shimmerino mi piacciono molto. Non è un rosa esagerato, ha quella punta di eleganza che me lo fa piacere :)
