Hi everyone!
Today I’m reviewing a product I’ve received from online store BeautyBigBang. It’s a liquid latex (liquid palisade anyone?) that you use around your cuticles when you do messy nail arts. I’ve already reviewed such a product in the past but it was blue and I found myself needing a white one. When BeautyBigBang offered to review theirs I happily said yes. Let’s see it.
Item J2176-WH: Latex Tape Peel Off Nail Art Glue Protective Nail Polish Cuticle Guard Skin Barrier*
This is a latex based product that you apply around your nails when doing messy nail arts to protect your fingers and to avoid cleaning up with acetone afterwards. It looks like a glue, liquid but thick. It comes in a nail polish bottle and you use the brush to apply it on your skin. It comes up as white but turns transparent once it’s dry. And it dries really fast. I wanted to show you the difference but by the time I got my camera it was already dry around my index. You can see it around my pinkie anyway.
After it dried completely I started creating a gradient manicure without caring about the mess. As soon as I was happy with the look I lifted the latex with some tweezers and there it was! My fingers were completely clean. I was only left with some nail polish around the cuticles but that’s my fault for not going too far in with the latex. You can do better than that.
Me likes! Plus being white to transparent I tried using it as a peel-off base for glitters. I can tell you it works if used on bare nails. I don’t know what the mani could last with it but it sure comes off in a heartbeat. If you layer it on a base coat it doesn’t work though, it kinda cracks leaving the surface uneven.
If you’d like to have a look at BeautyBigBang keep in mind you can safely pay with Paypal and they offer free shipping worldwide over 1 item. Delivery time is the usual from China I guess. They state it can take 2-4 weeks. You can also use code SIMONA for a 10% off sitewide.
And in the end here’s the final nail art after minimal clean up. I hope you like it!

Oh wow, I really like the dry time on the latex, plus how it dries clear is a big plus. I might have to pick some up!
ReplyDeleteWorth it!
Pensa te...beh a me piace moltissimo
ReplyDeleteGrazie mille!
DeleteThe mermaid is strong in this mani, I love it! And the latex sounds good :D
ReplyDeleteIt's very good!
DeleteNail art stupenda *_*
ReplyDeleteGrazie!
DeleteThis seems like a really great latex! I LOVE the gradient you did here. Beautiful combo!
ReplyDeleteThank you!
DeleteOhhh that's so beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThank you!
Deleteabsolutely gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteThank you!
