Women’s Day wearing yellow: [b] basic #15

Hi everyone and happy women’s day. You might or might not celebrate this day because you know we are special all year long 366 days a year (since we have a leap year), but even if you are not celebrating you could agree with me that holidays are a great challenge for us nails addicted to sport some special manis or colours or nail arts. Yesterday I was talking with GoldFrancine of The Beauty Case and she was telling me she wanted Chanel Mimosa so bad to wear today. And there the idea of yellow came! I recently did a haul with a bright yellow (which another friend defined an egg yolk colour, and she’s kinda right) and I decided to wear it! This is [b] basic #15. [b] basic is a very cheap brand sold in German drugstores Schlecker that we can also find in the North of Italy. They have these mini sized bottles that are just like jewels to collect since they have some awesome colours and they are not bad at all! The pics show 3 coats. As usual yellows are a little critical to apply and I had some bald spots with only 2, but they were really easy to apply and dried as quickly as possible with Seche Vite on top.

Forse siete tra quelle che festeggiano o forse no perchè sapete che noi donne siamo speciali 366 giorni all’anno (bisestile!), ma anche se siete tra quelle che non festeggiano sarete d’accordo con me sul fatto che le feste sono un ottimo spunto per fare nail art a tema o sfoggiare colori speciali o particolari. Ieri parlavo con GoldFrancine di The Beauty Case e mi diceva di volere il Chanel Mimosa da mettere oggi. E da lì l’idea del giallo! Recentemente ho comprato dei nuovi smalti (ma va?!) tra cui un bel giallo acceso (che un’altra amica ha definito color uovo, e ha ragione!) e ho deciso di inaugurarlo subito. Questo è il [b] basic #15. La [b] basic è una marca molto economica venduta alla Schlecker, una catena di negozietti tedesca che si trova anche in Nord Italia. Hanno questi smaltini piccoli che sono come tanti gioiellini da collezionare perchè hanno dei colori meravigliosi, e non sono neanche male come qualità! Le foto sono 3 mani. Come al solito i gialli sono faticosi da lavorare e con 2 mani sole avevo un qualche vuoto di colore. In ogni caso è stato semplice stenderli e si sono asciugati super velocemente col Seche Vite.

I love this colour! I keep staring at my nails! I think this is my new favourite yellow as it does look great even on my pale skin tone! How do you like it?

Mi piace da matti questo colore e continuo a rimirarmi le unghie. Penso che sia il mio nuovo giallo preferito, anche perchè mi sta bene nonostante la carnagione chiara. Non mi sbatte insomma! Vi piace??
