ABC Challenge! Letter "D": Deborah Milano Carpe Diem

Hi everyone! I will be super short today because at the moment I am so incredibly pissed off with my local post office! Yesterday the postman was meant to deliver a swap that made it through the customs but nobody was at home. So they left a note to go pick it up at the office. Well, I am just back from there and they can’t find it anyway! I am sooo pissed off and I can hardly believe it this is really happening. I hope they’ll find it somewhere really quick. Enough about it. My D pick is yet another Italian brand, Deborah Milano, and this is a mini from their Pret à Porter line: Carpe Diem. It’s a nice duochrome that shifts from dark blurple to dark green. Unfortunately the shift is not very evident. Most of the time it’s just blurple with greenish border. Kwim? I am honest I don’t really like this line, it just doesn’t work with my nail chemistry. The colour becomes opaque the day after I put it on, no matter what base or top coat I use. And the tip wear is almost immediate. Nevertheless it’s a nice one for a day, hence the pictures’ spam!

Ciao a tutte! Oggi post veloce perchè sono inferocita con l’ufficio postale. Ieri il postino aveva in consegna un pacco che finalmente aveva passato la dogana, ma non c’era nessuno a casa e ha lasciato il solito talloncino per il ritiro in posta. Bhe, io in posta ci sono appena stata e il pacco non si trova. Sono incazzata nera, scusate il francesismo ma quando ce vò ce vò. Non mi posso capacitare che stia succedendo davvero. Spero che lo trovino alla svelta. Cmq, andiamo avanti, la mia D è l’italianissima Deborah, e nel particolare il Carpe Diem della linea Pret à Porter. E’ un duochrome che vira dal viola (a base blu) al verde scuro. Purtroppo il cambio colore non è netto, per la maggior parte del tempo è un semplice viola con un bordo verdognolo. Sarò onesta, a me gli smalti della Pret à Porter non piacciono. Forse non vanno d’accordo con le mie unghie, non lo so, fatto sta che il colore diventa opaco il giorno dopo che li metto, qualsiasi base o top coat io usi. E cominciano subito a rovinarsi le unghie. In ogni caso per un giorno solo è uno smalto carino e per questo vi spammo un po’ di foto.

Now I am heading to a yoga lesson, fingers crossed I can forget my missing swap for a couple hours! And then I’ll visit my buddies, and you should, too!

Adesso me ne vado a yoga, e spero che mi aiuti a dimenticarmi di sto casino almeno per un paio di ore. Poi passerò a guardare tutte le altre ragazze dell’ABC, e dovreste farlo anche voi ;)
