ABC Challenge! Letter “E”: Essie To Buy or Not To Buy

Hi everyone! I am pretty late with my post, not at all satisfied by the mani and I’m pissed off by the weather. Should I say more? My last second E is for Essie To Buy Or Not To Buy. This is a lilac shade from the Spring 2012 collection and I only have a mini. And I am glad I only have a mini! Despite actually being a shimmer for as hidden it might be (you can’t see it on my nails but look at the bottle), the formula just sucks. I had trouble applying it, like the worst of pastel cremes. You will easy recognise the thick formula from my pics. No top coat on purpose.

Ciao a tutte! Oggi sono abbastanza in ritardo col post e per niente soddisfatta dello smalto. Aggiungete anche che mi sono ampiamente rotta le scatole di questo tempo orribile. Cmq, la mia E last-second è l’Essie To Buy Or Not To Buy. E’ uno smalto lilla della collezione primaverile 2012 e ho soltanto la boccetta in taglia mini. Per fortuna! Nonostante sia uno shimmer, per quanto nascosto (sulle unghie non lo vedete ma guardate la boccetta), la formulazione è orribile. Ho fatto fatica a stenderlo quanto la peggio crema pastello! Lo capite facilmente anche voi dalle foto, volutamente senza top coat.

So what do you do when your mani is a mess? You try to hide it, right? That’s why I grabbed my new Born Pretty Store stamping plate (sent to me for review)! This happens to be amazing for Valentine’s time and it’s actually really good. My stamping skills are not great at all but you can see how easy it stamps! The stamping polish I used is Catrice Poison Me, Poison You! btw.

Che fate quando uno smalto vi viene steso uno schifo? Io cerco di nasconderlo! Per far ho preso la mia plate di Born Pretty Store nuova di zecca (speditami per recensirla). Questa plate è perfetta per il periodo di San Valentino ed è anche abbastanza buona come qualità. Le mie capacità come “stampatrice” non certo eccelse cmq potete vedere anche voi quanto è venuta bene e che carina è! Lo smalto che ho usato per la stampa è il Catrice Poison Me, Poison You!
