Pink holographic flowers nails

Hi everyone!

Today I am showing you a very easy nail art I did with Bornpretty holo polish H004 Magnificent Time as my base. I decided to give it a second chance using a different top coat, but I covered it with some flowery water decals this time. They are from Bornprettystore, too, and they are part of a 5-pieces set. I’ve already showed you some of the others. This one is ref. BPY40*, which is sold both as a part of the set or on its own. Price doesn’t change if you purchase it on its own in case you don’t like the other patterns.

 

 

I am still learning the best way to stick this stuff on my nails. In the beginning I was getting a lot of ridges on the edges but it’s gong better and better now. This time I followed a trick I found on Facebook about using a make-up sponge to press the decals down once I placed them. I actually used a kitchen sponge and it worked equally great as you might notice. The sponge soaked up the excess water, sticked the decals to the nails and didn’t damage the pattern and colours. Great tip, totally recommended! And once again I recommend you use Essence XXXL Gel Look top coat for your nail arts because it doesn’t smudge them.

The decals I’ve used so far from the 5-pieces set are so good quality. You gotta like the patterns obviously, that’s personal preference. I love flowers designs! Plus I love how these decals are so thin that the holo base is visible and maked the flowers holo, too!

About the base polish I have to confirm my review unfortunately. Even changing top coat the lasting time was really poor, which sucks because I basically wasted my decals.
